MOBOTIX M15 Modular Camera with 43mm Day and 43mm Night Sensor Modules

The housing includes integrated camera electronics, flash memory, external ports (Ethernet, MxBus, and mini-USB), and preinstalled VarioFlex mount for wall or ceiling mounting. The front element accommodates the two 6MP sensor modules, microphone, speaker, passive infrared sensor, outside temperature sensor, and status LEDs. The camera comes with connection cables for sensor modules and network. The sensor modules are directly screwed into the camera housing. The visible external part of the sensor module comes in a white finish, which enables it to blend into most indoor and outdoor installation environments.

The 6MP day and night sensor modules allow the camera to capture sharp color videos and high-contrast B&W videos, even in dark situations. The electronic switching between the day and night system is automatic, with no moving parts and is based on light conditions to ensure reliable operation at any temperature and in any weather.

The included MxActivitySensor software is an activity-controlled image analysis tool for detecting movement of people and objects in a monitored area (full image or section). It is easy to configure and delivers reliable results, even in applications with large amounts of external interference. For example, the camera distinguishes between movements of vehicles, people, or objects that trigger an alarm and movements that are not relevant for alarms, such as shadows, changes in illumination, trees swaying in the wind, or rain directly at the lens.

Even fast-moving objects can be identified easily without any motion blur. When the light intensity fades (for example, during dusk), MOBOTIX Lowlight Exposure Optimization (MxLEO) shortens exposure times to deliver crisp images. The AllroundDual M15 Modular Camera is IP66-rated and can withstand a temperature range of -22 to 140°F. It does not require additional cooling, heating, or a special housing. The camera is suitable for video security applications in commercial, private, and public sector environments, as a surveillance or weather camera, webcam, indoors or outdoors, day or night. This camera operates with built-in firmware allowing remote access from Windows and Mac computers via a web browser, or using the free MOBOTIX app for iOS.
